I considered using this inspiring image for the heading of this post. But, due to the danger of this moment and the next 183 days until January 20, 2021 and the next presidential inauguration, I chose an image which is cited and explained below.

Two things about this dangerous and unconstitutional situation (the source linked to here is “Forbes” -which is not known as a progressive publication.)
First, military-looking personnel without designating identification, pulling peaceful protestors off of the street and whisking them away in unmarked vehicles is a tactic which we’ve seen used in countries like El Salvador and other places where the repressive government sought to violently squelch dissent.
This is not supposed to happen in the U.S.A. as the POTUS cannot violate constitutional and civil rights.
Second, in 2007 (eleven years before the election of POTUS#45) Naomi Wolf published a small, non-fiction book entitled “The End of America: Letter of Warning to a Young Patriot”
